Can’t. Stop. Laughing.

All you parents of Disney Princess obsessed little girls will appreciate this!

The kids were downstairs playing, and when I say playing what I mean is running around like the crazies while screaming, singing and laughing at the top of their lungs. Anyways, the girls were playing in a new birthday present, a Frozen Power Wheels Mustang.

Well this fancy little convertible has a battery operated radio that plays only songs from the movie Frozen…SHOCKER!!! All three of my girls are obsessed with the Disney Princesses and surprising enough, they each have their own favorite, but absolutely LOVE the songs from the movie Frozen, so I guess its a good thing there is only one radio station…LOL

The singing got a little loud and obnoxious at times, so thinking he could end the chase, the hubby decided he was going to take matters into his own hands. Nicely asking them to keep it down wasn’t working any more so he stomps down the steps, turns the lights out and in his most stern father voice says to my oldest daughter (the one screaming, I mean singing):

“Rae, if you don’t quiet down, I am going to rip your voice out like Ursula!”

I immediately busted out laughing and haven’t stopped. I am wiping away the tears as I write this. I am not sure if he meant to end the sentence the way he did or he forgot what he was going to say, either way, IT MADE MY DAY!!!

The whole thing is too funny on so many levels…

  1. They were singing a Frozen song, not The Little Mermaid song
  2. Ariel voluntarily  gave up her voice
  3. Ursula is actually evil and my husband really isn’t
  4. Not to mention it was an empty threat

However, it did work being that it was language a 5 year old Disney Princess living girl could understand. And they have been singing and playing at a more enjoyable decibel in which hubby could actually get a nap in, which is all that matters on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Many hugs and blessings friends!!!
